Children's Sunday School 

Each week, our children ages 2 through 5th grade are led by dedicated and caring teachers and volunteers in Sunday School. Our curriculum follows the Revised Common Lectionary, so often our children are exploring the same texts that are being read and proclaimed in worship that day! Through art, music, games and conversation, God's Word is brought to life, and we all grow in faith together. Come join us!

Pre-School classes: 2 year olds and 3 &4 year olds 

meet each week at 10:30 AM

 Pre-school aged children are also welcome to attend worship until the time with the children,

and then join their Sunday School class.

Elementary Classes: Kindergarten - 2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade

On the 1st Sunday of the month,

 our elementary-aged children join the congregation for worship with communion in the Sanctuary. 

On the 2nd - 5th Sundays of the month,

our elementary-aged children join the congregation for worship until the time with the children, and then are invited to their Sunday School classes.

Vacation Bible School

Each Summer, HPC welcomes members and friends from the community to spend a week learning together at Vacation Bible School.

At VBS we sing, dance, play, create, and learn together.

Harundale Presbyterian Weekday School

Harundale Presbyterian Weekday School is accredited and certified through the Maryland Board of Education and provides instruction in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. We offer classes for 3 year olds (Tuesday and Thursday) and 4 year olds (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) from 9:30 - 12:00.  The goals of the school are to help children feel comfortable in a setting outside the home, to learn to function in a group, to be able to follow instructions, and to get along with other children.  We use teacher directed activities which allow for the child's creativity .  We provide opportunities for physical, social and emotional growth.  The spirit of Christian love underlies all of the relationships of the school.
